The need for more professionals in the workspace in Nigeria cannot be overemphasized. It is to this end that most professions have examining bodies which prepare a pathway towards professionalism in their particular field.

Unfortunately, in spite of the plethora of professional bodies, the number of professionals graduating do not justify some. This has been traced to the dearth of a learning system that will prepare candidates for the examinations. In most cases, the lecturers in the different existing bodies may not have all that it takes to prepare students as they are more of academics than professionals.
